Generally speaking, the primary purpose of the seal ring is to keep the oil, water and decline and thence to stamp the gas. Simply speaking, it is exploited to keep the leakage.
Although the general use is similar, different seal rings still get their particular functions. O-ring is chiefly applied for the static seal and alternating motion seal.
