There is No Way to Seal the Border with Pakistan

According to Col Viet Luong of the US Army it is not possible to stamp the borderline between Afghanistan and Pakistan. This is something that we make known for rather a piece but according to my military sense it is really not neccessary to stamp the bplace totally in order to put a bend in their operation. We can sure do it rather hard for terrorists to sweep back and forward between the two countries which should be sufficient enough for our victory.

The ring is often too big and we simply don`t receive adequate resources to cross the total area. So now you need to ask me what I would do right? Well let me say you. This is the military ring man`s solution to the problem.

I would focus my resources on the most travelled areas and those areas which are nearest to population centers. My destination would be to throw them get to go a circle about route to get to their target area. This would cost them a large quantity of meter and resources in travel alone. It would have them hesitate to cover the frame for simple missions because the time spent travelling just wouldn`t be worth it.

Since lots of the terrain is hard to navigate I would focus my resources on the roadstead and major trails. The low lying terrain would be my priority since the mountains are difficult to cross. Manned observation posts on prominent terrain features would be set up to visit in air or artillery strikes on Taliban fighters who used themountains. I would also deploy ground sensors along as many of the smaller but usable trails as I could to cover the advance of moving formations. I would place small units near choke points or places where roads and or trails intersect because 90 per cent of all traffic would take to get through these points. Roving patrols would be exploited to see the full open stretches.

Drones would have overlapping flight paths in place to watch the cause that the patrols miss in the lowlands along with the observation posts covering the mountain ranges. They would be dispersed so that there would be some air support immediately available for any country which required it.

The final thing that I would do would be to provide a cash reward to villagers or bedouins who reported Taliban activity to me in a timelly manner. We don`t get to completely eliminate them in order to win. All that we get to do is to do it hard for them. Y`all didn`t live but I could have been a general if I could have stayed out of trouble. Betcha didn`t know I had it in me did you?
